After experiencing a profound sense of peace during a stroll in a local park, I was inspired to explore the spiritual journey of walking with God as illustrated in Genesis 3:8. From Genesis, chapter 3, verse 8 from the New Living Translation, they heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden.

Now, not far from a church that I used to go to, is a city park with a small lake, and children used to go there to catch fish, and there's ducks and there's other wildlife there that make it their home.

Now there's a walking circle or a walking path that circles the pond and it crosses the small streams that run through the woods, and sometimes in the summer, I'd go there.

It's not just the beauty of the park that draws me, but it was the joy of being in the company I'd go there.

It's a time for us to talk about the day and catch a glimpse of God's handiwork in creation, because we too are created to enjoy similar walks with God.

Of all of God's creatures, only we have hearts capable of opening up to God's heart, only we can share his joys and his intentions for the world.

But our brokenness shows our hesitation to walk closely with him.

His knowledge of us is too deep, his gaze is too penetrating and we feel vulnerable, like Adam and Eve did in the garden.

Ultimately, our shame is covered when we're clothed with Christ Galatians 3.27.
