00:00:01.421 --> 00:00:06.253
Welcome to Wisdom for the Day, your daily source for spiritual refreshment and guidance.

00:00:06.253 --> 00:00:07.602
I'm Rick.

00:00:07.602 --> 00:00:12.512
Join me as I dive into God's Word to find clarity and strength for life's challenges.

00:00:12.512 --> 00:00:18.324
Let me help you embrace each day with faith and wisdom, Ready to feel inspired.

00:00:18.324 --> 00:00:19.929
Let's get started.

00:00:19.929 --> 00:00:21.763
And now.

00:00:21.763 --> 00:00:23.408
Weekends with Lauren.

00:00:45.079 --> 00:00:45.481
Today is Day 60.

00:00:45.481 --> 00:00:45.762
Stop worrying.

00:00:45.762 --> 00:00:45.923
And now.

00:00:45.923 --> 00:00:46.344
Weekends with Lauren.

00:00:46.365 --> 00:00:51.564
Peace Not just the kind of peace you feel when your to-do list is done or when you're sipping coffee on a quiet morning, but real, deep, unshakable peace that holds you steady when life feels anything but calm.

00:00:51.564 --> 00:00:55.600
I was reading in Philippians, chapter 4, and it hit me in a fresh way.

00:00:55.600 --> 00:00:58.206
It says don't worry about anything.

00:00:58.206 --> 00:01:00.329
Instead, pray about everything.

00:01:00.329 --> 00:01:09.528
Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done.

00:01:09.528 --> 00:01:11.790
Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we.

00:01:11.790 --> 00:01:17.856
I don't know about you, but sometimes I find it way easier to worry about everything than to pray about it.

00:01:17.856 --> 00:01:26.311
I catch myself spiraling, overthinking that conversation I had, stressing about my future or just feeling overwhelmed by everything going on in this world.

00:01:26.311 --> 00:01:29.960
But this verse reminds me that God doesn't ask me to carry that weight.

00:01:29.960 --> 00:01:32.606
Instead, he invites me to lay it down at his feet.

00:01:32.606 --> 00:01:38.007
The crazy thing is, when we actually do that, when we really trust him with it, all his peace shows up.

00:01:38.007 --> 00:01:42.584
And it's not the kind of peace the world gives, the kind that depends on perfect circumstances.

00:01:42.584 --> 00:01:46.049
It's the kind that stays even when life is messy and uncertain.

00:01:46.049 --> 00:01:49.655
I love how it says God's peace will guard your hearts and minds.

00:01:49.655 --> 00:01:55.641
It's like a protective shield, keeping out fear and anxiety and filling the space with calm, with trust, with hope.

00:01:55.641 --> 00:02:05.873
So here's my challenge for you today Take five minutes, just five, and lay everything before God your worries, your joys, your frustrations, and then thank him.

00:02:05.873 --> 00:02:12.747
Thank him for his faithfulness, even in the hard seasons, because gratitude has this beautiful way of unlocking peace in our hearts.

00:02:12.747 --> 00:02:18.945
And if today feels heavy, if anxiety is creeping in, remember this you don't have to carry it alone.

00:02:18.945 --> 00:02:21.045
God's peace is waiting for you.

00:02:21.045 --> 00:02:24.626
All you have to do is ask, and let me pray for us real quick.

00:02:24.626 --> 00:02:27.247
Jesus, thank you for being our peace in the chaos.

00:02:27.247 --> 00:02:32.592
Teach us to bring everything to you, every worry, every fear, and to trust you completely.

00:02:32.592 --> 00:02:37.562
Fill our hearts with the kind of peace that the world can't take away In your name, amen.

00:02:37.562 --> 00:02:42.913
That's all for now.
