00:00:01.421 --> 00:00:06.253
Welcome to Wisdom for the Day, your daily source for spiritual refreshment and guidance.

00:00:06.253 --> 00:00:07.602
I'm Rick.

00:00:07.602 --> 00:00:12.512
Join me as I dive into God's Word to find clarity and strength for life's challenges.

00:00:12.512 --> 00:00:18.324
Let me help you embrace each day with faith and wisdom, ready to feel inspired.

00:00:18.324 --> 00:00:19.929
Let's get started.

00:00:36.250 --> 00:00:37.290
And now Weekends with Lauren.

00:00:37.290 --> 00:00:39.093
Today is Day 61.

00:00:39.093 --> 00:00:39.813
Why wait?

00:00:39.813 --> 00:00:43.595
And now Week wrestle, with a lot Waiting on God's timing.

00:00:44.536 --> 00:00:46.177
I mean, can we be real for a second?

00:00:46.177 --> 00:00:54.351
Waiting is hard, especially when you feel like you're doing all the right things, praying all the right prayers, and yet nothing seems to be happening.

00:00:54.351 --> 00:00:58.844
But God took me to Ecclesiastes 3.11 this week and it spoke directly to my heart.

00:00:58.844 --> 00:01:03.082
It says yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time.

00:01:03.082 --> 00:01:05.108
He has planted eternity in the human heart.

00:01:05.108 --> 00:01:09.310
But even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end.

00:01:09.310 --> 00:01:10.132
Wow.

00:01:10.132 --> 00:01:17.691
It's like God is reminding me, reminding us, that while we only see this tiny piece of the puzzle, he sees the whole picture.

00:01:17.691 --> 00:01:20.989
He knows exactly how every part of our story fits together.

00:01:20.989 --> 00:01:26.081
And not only that, but he promises that in his perfect timing, everything will be made beautiful.

00:01:26.662 --> 00:01:27.644
But here's where it gets hard.

00:01:27.644 --> 00:01:30.653
We live in a world that celebrates instant results.

00:01:30.653 --> 00:01:36.091
We can literally get groceries delivered in an hour or binge an entire show in one weekend.

00:01:36.091 --> 00:01:40.594
So when God's timeline feels slower than ours, it's easy to question his plan.

00:01:40.594 --> 00:01:44.587
Yet this verse nudges me to trust that the waiting isn't wasted.

00:01:45.009 --> 00:01:54.109
It's in those seasons of waiting whether it's waiting for healing, for direction, for a relationship or even for a dream to come alive that God is often doing his deepest work in us.

00:01:54.109 --> 00:01:56.364
Think about a seed planted in the ground.

00:01:56.364 --> 00:02:02.042
It's buried, unseen, and it takes time before it breaks through the soil, but that doesn't mean nothing's happening.

00:02:02.042 --> 00:02:03.722
Growth is happening in the dark.

00:02:03.722 --> 00:02:07.825
So today, if you're feeling stuck in a waiting season, I want you to remember this.

00:02:07.825 --> 00:02:09.807
God hasn't forgotten you.

00:02:09.807 --> 00:02:11.568
His timing is perfect.

00:02:11.568 --> 00:02:15.532
Even when it feels painfully slow, he's crafting something beautiful.

00:02:15.532 --> 00:02:17.394
You just might not see it yet.

00:02:17.394 --> 00:02:31.762
Here's a little challenge Take a sticky note, write down something you've been waiting on and next to it, write in his time, not mine.

00:02:31.762 --> 00:02:32.544
Place it somewhere you'll see it often.

00:02:32.544 --> 00:02:33.826
Let that be your reminder that God's got this and he's got you.

00:02:33.826 --> 00:02:34.389
Let's pray together, lord.

00:02:34.389 --> 00:02:38.182
Help us to trust you in the waiting, even when we don't understand your timing.

00:02:38.182 --> 00:02:41.472
Give us peace in knowing that you're working all things for our good.

00:02:41.472 --> 00:02:46.306
Strengthen our faith and help us to rest in your perfect plan In Jesus' name, amen.

00:02:46.306 --> 00:02:50.972
That's all for now.
